Step behind the scenes of one of Aotearoa’s most anticipated additions to the built environment – the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) – a world‑class venue that’s reshaping the heart of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

Guided by members of the NZICC’s FM team, you’ll uncover the intricate systems and spaces that keep this impressive complex running seamlessly. From logistics hubs and production kitchens to plant rooms, switch rooms, and the spectacular rooftop housing the building maintenance unit, this is a rare glimpse into the engine room of a next‑generation facility.

Tour highlights include:

• A behind‑the‑scenes look at logistics operations, exhibition floors, and theatre spaces (subject to event bookings).
• Exploration of key plant areas including chiller and boiler rooms, generator spaces, and main switch room.
• Access to elevated catwalks 13–15 metres above the exhibition hall, providing a unique perspective on scale, structure, and safety in action.
